Pumpkin Pecan Muffins (Eggless)

Stir together the dry ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. pumpkin spice
Stir together the wet ingredients:
1 (15oz) can pumpkin
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk (or 1 Tbs. vinegar in 1/2 cup milk)
1 tsp. vanilla
Stir the wet into the dry;
Stir in 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Bake at 400 degrees F; 35 minutes for cake/loaf or 20 minutes for muffins.
